Sophie and I went to a play date at the Explorium today. Although it is a great place for little ones, today was not the day to go! A local school was having a field trip there and there were kids running everywhere! They were much older than Sophie and super rough. We were in the baby section playing quietly and a little boy came over to say "Hi." How cute, I thought! Until - he hit Sophie in the head with a toy train! I thought I was going to die! The little guy's mom was there and she completely freaked. (Sophie is FINE, not even a red spot!) Needless to say, we decided to leave! I will definitely call ahead next time. Fortunately, the manager knew it was a bad situation and gave us free passes!
